I know I’ve always wanted to be a nurse or a doctor. I wanna hold a scalpel, 10-blade, clamp, suction, and all those stuff they use for sutures or surgeries. Geez, I wanna cut someone open when I get angry. Does that occur to you as sane or am I totally out of my mind? But darn, poverty sucks that I can’t even go to a med school! I guess I had to live with my fantasies, wearing cute scrub caps and become one of the best neurosurgeons in my wildest dreams! Fuck, Grey’s Anatomy reruns.

Why are some people afraid of blood? Mostly, big guys. My team leader lost his senses when he sees blood. And, his like six footer or something. My team mate’s boyfriend who’s a basketball player can’t take a look at a drop of blood, much more a bucket. Must be the tough, big guys. Hmm, makes me wonder.

Twilight Saga fanatics, congratulations. Who has never seen the Twilight: New Moon Trailer? Well, I have to say the effects were cool. Compared with the first one, I think this one will be a hit. Take a peek!

Anyway, I just want to share the things that keep me from boredom everytime insomnia kicks in or when it’s my rest day and I don’t find myself hanging out with friends. And that is Facebooking. Do you think Facebook is a social networking site? Well, think again. The reason why I signed up for Facebook is not to gain friends. Dang, I ain’t that friendly. Haha! Well, I signed up because of the games. And here are the top 3 games that I always play.

1. Farmtown

Well, the main goal for the game is to level up and expand you farm. You can buy buildings like barn, farmhouse, chicken coop,or mansion, or you can buy flowers and trees that will bring the colors to your farm. May ganun? All you need to do is plow and plant to gain more money. (Tip: You can have yourself hired at the marketplace and gain money and experience) So, if the farm has a lot of things in it, then the owner must be rich! Just like me. Hahaha!

2. Restaurant City

Just like any other games, the goal is to level up and expand your restaurant. You can decorate your restaurant with as many stuff as you want. You can also choose dishes and drinks to serve to your customers. You have to level your dishes up to gain more experience, thus leveling up faster. You can buy ingredients, too. Where can you find a tomato that’s worth 4,700? Only in Restaurant City. So, you can trade ingredients with your friends to save money. Ang pangit pa ng restaurant ko kasi low level pa. haha!

3. Word Challenge

The game is simple and no, the aim is not to level up, but to have the highest score ever! I think everyone has played text twist. So, I don’t have to explain a lot. This game is just like Text Twist. You can challenge a friend and beat them with your vocabulary and excellence in twisting letters. So far, I’m still the running champion with 16,332 score.

Okay, I resigned from the previous job last March. Or was it February? I can’t really remember. Anyway, I finally tendered my resignation letter due to financial demands. I had to send my sister back to school. I have to work as a callboy again. Medyo malakas na kasi ang prostitusyon. Haha. Kidding aside, I was accepted in Convergys and have been working there for about five months. I guess that would be a good reason why I haven’t been writing the past few months. Being a probationary employee isn’t that easy. I had to beat a lot of bones to keep up. Come September 27, I have to be regularized (is this even an English word? hehe). Please pray for me. Pambili lang ng bigas.

Well, I don’t think I have lots of things to say for now. But I will sure be visiting your sites. Watch out!

Well, I know for a fact that some of the employees (count me in) resort to blogging when boredom is getting in the hair. You can’t help it. We can’t be playing Pinball and Spider Solitaire all the time.

On second note, some of us don’t do our tasks anymore (again, that counts me in). But wouldn’t it be nice not to block WordPress, so we can bloghop and get new ideas from other bloggers? I mean, the field is writing. Wouldn’t the blogosphere be a great help?

I don’t want to whine, but yes, the current project’s not doing us any good. Two of my colleagues have resigned because of being burned out. Somehow, I also want to express here that I, too, don’t have any drive to do the job anymore. To think, those two are our front runners. They are the cream of the crop (read: they are paid the highest). Darn! But I digress.

The thought of it is just excruciatingly exhausting.

And oh, the internet at home’s not back yet since I haven’t paid the 3-month bill plus the reconnection fee yet. How convenient! Hehe

So, I’m telling y’all that I might be away for a while. And I will surely miss you.

A lot of people have asked me if my birthday’s November 23. Well, the answer is no. I know, you guessed it from the numbers in the link. To tell you honestly, I have always been fascinated with numbers. I love Math, and oh numbers. Math had always been my favorite subject in school. And that 1123 right there is no date, my dear.

Do you know about Fibonacci’s sequence? Let me remind you. 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34… Do you see any pattern? I’m not doing a lecture here, so might as well open another browser and google it. Or, you can choose to read/watch The Da Vinci Code. Ha-ha.

Well, my world during my school years has revolved around numbers . One of my majors during college was Math (Physics being the other, which also uses Math as language).

So, why beyond1123? Well, that simply means beyond numbers – beyond the obvious pattern. I wanted to deviate myself from the usual, from the predictable. I wanted to delve into the world of the unknown, the unexpected.

Why beyond1123? That’s because I’m no Math-geek anymore. I don’t eat Calculus or Trigonometry for breakfast now. I don’t even dream of matrices at all. I don’t compute flow rates of beer, or test the acidity of vodka. I don’t deal with flourescence or some photoacoustic conversion anymore.

This is the real me – the little boy who dreams of cotton candies and eats sunny-side up eggs for breakfast. Deal with it.

**This poem was cross-posted in my poetry site. But since I am not thinking of updating that site anymore, I just transferred it here. This was written out of the blue when I saw little kids serenading the passengers with Christmas songs in mid-October.

Online Games! Yes, at age 21, I still play online games with friends. And, one of the online games I play is Silkroad Online.

Silkroad Online is an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online RPG) that puts the player deep into ancient Chinese, Islamic, and European civilizations. The Silk Road, was in short, a major cultural and economic trading gateway. Roads connected between ancient Asia and Europe that have disappeared into the forgotten history of glory and adventure.

The Silkroad is an active world unlike other MMORPG’s which have fixed content. In the spacious roads Merchants take chances for adventure while Thief’s intend to strip them of their goods. Although, with great risk in trades, Hunters will be their too protect traders and end the mischief of thieves. On the Silkroad, the constant life that is given to this world is through the trades and challenges brought from it forming various bonds, goals, and dreams giving the Silkroad a world full of life.

Okay, enough about the game. I just want to show you two of my characters there. So, sit back and relax. lol

There, the first character’s name is Lawliet. He character is named after my favorite detective in Death Note, “L” a.k.a. “Ryuzaki.” My character is an archer. Obvious ba? Low level pa lang. Kaya, noob pa rin. And, he is Chinese. lols.

The other character is European. The name’s “bigaon.” If you know a little Cebuano, you’d know what that means. Hehe. She is a rogue. She can use stealth attacks to kill the enemies with her dagger! So, watch out!

The experience was great, indeed. So, come and join me on my quest!
